How Jennifer Aniston Lives: Home, Rituals and Favorite Things
Mindfulness, balance and surprisingly simple habits
While the whole world debates how many fillers are in her face, Jennifer Aniston calmly builds her life according to her own rules. At 55, she looks better than many thirty-year-olds—and it's not just about good genes or expensive procedures. Over the years, the actress has built a system that works like Swiss watches: no extreme diets, rising at four in the morning or exhausting workouts. Instead—mindfulness, balance and surprisingly simple habits.
Key points from the article:
- Wakes up at 9 a.m. and doesn't pick up the phone for the first hour—only meditation, coffee with collagen, and walks with her dogs;
- Lives in a modernist house worth $21 million in Bel-Air, which she calls "Babe Cave";
- Gave up hourly cardio workouts in favor of 20-minute Pvolve sessions;
- Eats according to the 80/20 rule: healthy food most of the time, treats in the remaining 20%;
- Three dogs, a gratitude journal and complete abstinence from social media in the mornings—these form the foundation of her mental health.
Home as a Philosophy of Life
Jennifer bought her house in Bel-Air in 2011 for $21 million. The modernist mansion from 1965, designed by architect A. Quincy Jones, became her life's main project. The entrance door has a rug with the inscription "Babe Cave"—the name Jennifer gives to her sanctuary from the world.
The 8,500-square-foot home includes four bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a pool with an open relaxation area, a guest house, and even a chicken coop. But the main thing is the atmosphere. Together with interior designer Steven Shadley, she created a space where minimalism meets warmth.
"If I weren't an actress, I'd want to be a designer," Aniston admitted in an interview with Architectural Digest. Jen gravitates toward wood, stone and bronze—materials that have real depth. It doesn't matter how beautiful or glamorous something is; it must be warm and cozy.
Recently, the actress shared a photo from her living room where the central spot is taken by a large white statue—this year's trend of sculptural accents in interior design. Experts call her approach "curated but natural."

Morning Without a Phone: How the Perfect Day Begins
Forget stories about stars who wake up at five a.m. for two-hour workouts. Aniston wakes up between 8:30 and 9 a.m., but goes to bed late. And the first thing she doesn't do—she doesn't pick up her phone.
"No phones, emails, messages or social media. Nothing at all for an hour or so," the actress explains. First—walks and feeding three dogs: Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield. Then meditation, coffee, and journaling.
Her coffee is special: she adds a little skim or almond milk, stevia, cinnamon and collagen peptides. "It's kind of a ritual: coffee, meditation; meditation, coffee—depending on the order."
Fitness Without Fanaticism: Why 20 Minutes Is Better Than an Hour
Earlier, Aniston woke up at 4 a.m. for hourly cardio workouts, but at age 55 she completely rethought her approach. "I stopped doing 45-60 minutes of steady cardio, running and bootcamp because my knees can't take it anymore, and that's just inefficient."
Now the foundation of her workouts is Pvolve, low-impact functional fitness. The actress even became a brand partner. "I love the connection between mind and body—it's not just waving arms around," she explains.
Workouts are done with personal trainer Dan Coyle three to four times a week for 40 minutes each. Formats used include Strength & Sculpt and Sculpt & Burn—which is Aniston's favorite, combining cardio with strengthening exercises.
"I've become softer on myself," the actress admits. "If I used to feel like a failure if I didn't work out five or six days a week for an hour, now I understand: you can do anything for five minutes. Once you overcome the first resistance of 'I don't want to'—everything falls into place."
Eating by the 80/20 Rule: No Restrictions
Aniston follows the 80/20 rule: 80% of the time she eats healthy food, and 20% allows herself indulgences. "I don't deprive myself of pleasures." She calls her diet 'boring': lots of protein, vegetables, salads and "tons of water."
She practices intermittent fasting—16 hours without solid food. "I noticed a big difference when I started going 16 hours straight without eating." Though she does allow herself a "cheat meal" on Sundays.
When she wants to treat herself, she chooses salty foods: "Cheeseburger with fries, Mexican food, pasta, pizza—all of it salty. I’m not a sweet tooth. I definitely have a salty taste."
Caring for Mental Health: Podcasts Instead of News
Aniston avoids toxic content on social media and in the news. "Social media and news can be toxic. During the pandemic, I watched too much, pleading for things to change—but nothing did."
Instead, she listens to the podcast SmartLess, hosted by her friends Jason Bateman, Shaun Hays and Will Arnett. "Their chemistry is fantastic."
Aniston suffers from insomnia, so her nighttime ritual is especially important: stretching, yoga and no phones in the bedroom. "You can't exercise properly or eat right if you don’t sleep well, because your biological clocks are completely thrown off."
Social Life: Friends Matter More Than Glamour
In 2025, Aniston was reportedly dating someone new but keeps her relationships private. After public divorces with Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, the actress values privacy.
Friends often gather at her house, especially on Sundays by the pool. Recently paparazzi caught her relaxing in Cabo San Lucas with Jason Bateman and his wife. The home's design blurs the boundaries between inside and outside, creating an ideal atmosphere for conversation.
Beauty and Reality: A Course Toward Naturalness
In 2024, Aniston faced criticism for "too many fillers" after unflattering photos. Insiders say the actress was "humiliated" and rethought her beauty procedures. In 2025, she allegedly removed most of the fillers and took a course toward naturalness.
In her skincare routine, she follows minimalism: a rose water misting spray, cream and SPF. She recently launched her hair care line LoLavie, which she actively promotes.
Insiders on the Real Life of a Star
In May 2024, a stalker—70-year-old man—rammed through the gates of her house on a car. Fortunately, security detained him before police arrived. After that, Aniston increased her safety measures.
Jennifer Aniston's life is not a glossy picture, but a carefully planned system of habits that work for the long term. "Meditation is extremely important, movement, water and sleep—these are the basics. And mindful attention to what you put into your body," she formulates her philosophy.
In a world where everyone seeks extreme solutions, Aniston's approach seems revolutionary precisely for its simplicity. No 5 a.m., no restrictions, no suffering. Just balance, consistency and honesty with oneself.
