Oasis of Comfort and Beauty: How We Designed the Bathroom in a St. Petersburg Apartment

The bathroom is not just a place for morning rituals or evening relaxation, but a full-fledged zone for recovery. Designer Yana Gurova and the Lampa Design Studio team focused on combining aesthetics and functionality, making the space both cozy and practical.

Everything was thought out here: from the choice of finishing to lighting, so that the space turned out light and harmonious.

The centerpiece was an elegant freestanding bathtub — the classic form sets a cozy atmosphere and highlights the interior's aesthetics. Walls were clad with a combination of gray tones and sky-blue "boar" tiles: this touch adds freshness.

For the floor, a ceramic granite with an expressive marble texture was used, supporting the palette and creating a feeling of expensive, monolithic space.

Functional zoning was supported by installing a shower cubicle with transparent doors: the glass doesn't overload the interior and maintains an airy feeling. Thanks to combining the bathtub and shower, the apartment owner has two usage scenarios — a quick morning shower and a relaxing evening bath.

Special attention was paid to furniture and details. A suspended wooden vanity adds warmth and balances the cool tones of the tiles, while a round mirror above the sink and wall-mounted lights create soft lighting that enhances the feeling of coziness.

In another bathroom, attention is drawn to an unconventional floor with diagonal tile laying — this accent makes the interior dynamic.

The bathroom turned out truly stylish: combining classic and modern solutions allowed creating a space that delights the eye and brings comfort in daily life.
