Before and After: How Brilliantly They Redesigned a 5 m² Bathroom in a "Killed" Secondary Apartment
The difference before and after the renovation is dramatic!
This bathroom is located in a Stalin-era building from 1959. Designer Anastasia Tyurina completely changed the layout and applied bold and unconventional solutions. The new bathroom turned out bright, stylish, and functional.

Before the renovation, the bathroom was separate, and the old design left much to be desired: outdated finishing materials, absurd stickers on the walls, and peeled-off white paint created an unappealing atmosphere. One of the tasks was to remove the gas water heater, which was planned to be moved to the kitchen.
During the renovation, the bathroom was combined, and after transformation it became bright and modern. Part of the walls are now clad with green textured tiles, and another part is painted with red paint. The floor features patterned tiles that add a unique touch to the overall interior design.

The gas water heater was moved to the kitchen, and the pipe was hidden in a neat box. The window between the kitchen and bathroom was preserved — now it serves not only for lighting but also as a decorative element.

The new bathroom has space for a full-size bathtub, sink, and spacious storage cabinet. A washing machine is placed in the corner, making the area functional. Two wall sconces by the mirror provide soft lighting, and an elegant crystal chandelier completes the cozy and stylish atmosphere.

The bathroom now has a new look. The space has become more harmonious and functional, allowing every family member to enjoy it.
