How to Buy Real Estate Without Leaving Home

Since January 2017, the Federal Law "On State Registration of Real Estate" has come into force in Russia, which provides for the creation of a Unified State Register of Real Estate and a unified accounting and registration system. Since January 2017, you can submit documents for registration of rights and cadastre accounting of real estate objects at any office of the Multi-Functional Center (MFC) of Rosreestr, regardless of where the purchased real estate is located. You can view the locations of offices on the website https://lk.rosreestr.ru/#/offices.
MFCs are now authorized to provide most Rosreestr services: cadastre accounting, registration of rights to immovable property, and provision of information from the Unified State Register of Real Estate (EGRN). A pleasant bonus – almost any document can be obtained both in paper and electronic form.
2. No need to go anywhereYou no longer need to personally visit an office either when submitting an application or when receiving extracts from EGRN or documents after conducting state registration of rights. You can do this through the official website of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography www.rosreestr.ru
3. Everything will be delivered to your homeIf someone doesn't have time to pick up the property documents themselves, they can be delivered to any convenient place and time. To do this, you must specify the method of receipt "courier delivery" in your application. This is a paid service, although the low price fully compensates for the convenience: no need to "disrupt" your day or run off work.
4. You only need to submit an applicationNow, it is sufficient to submit one application to the registering authority – cadastre accounting and registration of rights will be carried out simultaneously within 10 days. Almost twice as fast as before.
Registration of rights based on notarially certified documents submitted in electronic form, electronic document copies, and a notary's application submitted in electronic form is carried out no later than within one working day.
5. It will take only 3 daysIf you need an extract on a real estate object, it can be obtained within 3 days instead of 5. In addition, any person can obtain publicly available information, which includes information about registered rights and the transfer of rights to a real estate object, in electronic form. The presence of an electronic signature is not required for this service.
By the way, from an EGRN extract on a real estate object you can get the following information: description and characteristics of the real estate object, information about the owner, presence of registered arrests (prohibitions) and court disputes.
From an EGRN extract on the transfer of rights, you can learn about registered rights to a real estate object and the transfer of these rights from one person to another. This is convenient in cases of land and apartment disputes when it is necessary to obtain information not only about your own, but also about adjacent properties.
