A chalkboard cabinet, volleyball net, dart board, and finally a multi-level play space where kids can jump and tantrum as much as they want – professionals know what delights children

What is absolutely essential in a child's room? Play space, of course! Playing helps children learn, rest, gather energy, and simply grow. The kind of play depends not only on the child and their parents but also on the designer.

  1. Chalkboard Cabinet

All children love to draw on walls and furniture, but they are usually forbidden from doing so. Here, children are told: «Yes, yes! You can draw anything you want on the cabinet doors.». And maybe from these kids, new Shishkines or Repins will grow.

  2. Play Space

To be honest, this is the dream of almost all parents – to come up with something so that kids can be left alone, without supervision, knowing they are safe, engaged in something useful, and not bored. And someone managed to make this dream come true!

  3. Sports Corner

The most reliable way to calm a child down is to channel their energy into peaceful streams. For example, toward a rope ladder and rings. Or shift their attention to a dart board target they can throw darts at. What will happen to the wall behind the target, however, remains unclear.

  4. Furniture as Toys

It's great when furniture allows for play – with Lego constructors or wild monkeys swinging on vines. A suspended chair transforms a child's room into jungles. And at the same time, it can be curled up in like a little ball and quieted down if there's no mood to jump through trees.

  5. Painting and Stickers

A child's room is a magical world where anything is possible. A little imagination, and a flock of birds will soar above the headboard, and a black cat will peek from around the corner. A forest of skyscrapers on the wall is also a good idea.
