A little about the company
IKEA is from Sweden, currently based in the Netherlands and managed from several European countries. The group owns a large retail network consisting of 320 stores in over 40 countries worldwide, as well as dozens of wood processing plants. The brand is so popular that there's even an expression: "IKEA fever," sometimes used by some stores as a slogan and fully reflecting the essence of things: once you've experienced the benefits of IKEA products, it's a lifelong love affair. When you hear enthusiastic reviews about IKEA, know that you're dealing with a member of the company's vast fan club. What do the Scandinavians 'get right' with consumers?

Advantages of the products in general
IKEA specializes in producing furniture and various home goods. Despite the fact that its products are aimed at mass consumers (i.e., European mass consumption), they offer many advantages.
AccessibilityOwn production, high sales volumes, and excellent marketing strategies allow IKEA to set quite moderate prices for its goods. Savings are also possible due to rational packaging and partial self-assembly of furniture by customers. The IKEA Family discount program is also available for regular buyers.
QualityFurniture and accessories are made from both natural and synthetic materials. However, in both cases, the product quality is at the highest level. A wooden bed made from natural wood, of course, won't cost a penny, but again, IKEA's quality matches its price.

StyleProducts of the brand are designed in a Scandinavian style, characterized by simplicity, functionality, geometric shapes, natural elements, lots of light, clean colors, pastel contrasts, and deep vibrant tones. Undoubtedly, each item carries something unique, so it’s more accurate to speak not of a specific countryside style, but of a unique IKEA-style.
Variety in product rangeTo decorate a room or even an entire house, there's no need to visit different stores – all from the bed to the carpet, curtains, and small decor can be found at IKEA. Thanks to its wide range of products in a consistent style, many combinations of furniture and household items are possible, allowing you to take the best from Scandinavia and create your own personal design.

Let's return to our beds
The wide variety of IKEA beds mentioned above includes a large number of different solutions made from durable materials, with optimal dimensions, and distinguished by ergonomic design and functionality. These can be divided into several groups:
- Double bed;
- Single bed;
- Upper and lower bed or loft bed;
- Additional bed or sofa bed;
- Baby crib.

Depending on personal preferences, you can choose a double bed with or without a headboard, with built-in storage drawers or sufficient height above the floor to place an additional drawer underneath. The bed frame is made from solid natural wood, wood veneer, steel, moisture-resistant particle board, and other types of panels. The frame can be made entirely or partially from natural wood, or steel that imitates forging. Double bed models are available in three sizes differing by width: 140, 160, or 180 cm, with a constant length of 200 cm. Various options for the slat base are available, made from beech plywood. One of the most unusual offerings is a round bed consisting of four segments that can be detached.

Attention: Just like double beds, single beds can have built-in storage spaces or a design that allows placing a separate drawer underneath. Single beds made from raw solid natural wood can be stained or varnished by the owner to protect the wood. The frame, frame with slat base, or frame with slat base and lower drawers may be sold separately. The standard size of this type of furniture is 90×200 cm, but a golden middle option is also available – a 120×200 cm bed that provides two sleeping spaces. One of the unusual single bed options from IKEA is a sliding bed with a built-in sleeping space that can be pulled out on wheels from under the main bed.

Upper and lower beds from IKEA are not necessarily a sleeping space for two children. What if the lower part is used as a guest area, decorated as a sofa with colorful cushions? But sleeping closer to the sky is not only provided by upper and lower beds. IKEA offers loft beds without a lower sleeping area. The free space under the bed can be adapted for a wardrobe or personal office, maximizing the room's usable space.

Additional beds and sofa beds from the European brand are so good that they can also serve as a main sleeping area for one person, especially a teenager or child. The product range includes "office" sofa beds, romantic compact beds for the bedroom, living room, wardrobe, or hallway, and very simple sliding beds and pull-out sofas.

Children's beds from IKEA are characterized by durability, stability, adjustability, and compliance with high safety standards. The passion for maximizing space has also reached this segment of the brand's furniture: convenient drawers in various colors, placed under the frame, can store children's belongings and toys.

Separate mattresses of various thicknesses and fillings, as well as mattress protectors are also offered. Here you can also get excellent bedding, pillows, blankets, carpets, curtains, and drapes, as well as fabrics for homemade sewing. Various cupboards, side tables, dressers, wardrobes, shelves, headboards, and much more are provided for storage. Lighting and mirrors from IKEA can complete the bedroom decoration.
It's not forbidden to live beautifully, and it's certainly not forbidden to sleep beautifully. With beds, mattresses, and accompanying products from IKEA, you can be sure that sleep will bring pleasure.
