French Suspended Ceilings

French suspended ceilings have long been the de facto synonym for suspended ceilings. France is, so to speak, the flagship of the suspended ceiling industry. In addition to high quality and vibrant color palette, French ceilings are also distinguished by a fairly long warranty period of up to 15 years.

The two main categories of French suspended ceilings are film and fabric. Matte, glossy, and satin PVC panels have been produced for more than 30 years by the French company CreationsetTechniquesNouvelles. Its products meet high safety standards and are attractive due to their affordable pricing.

Exclusively leather-like ceilings are also produced by another French company – CEF. Film ceilings are easy to maintain and cheaper than fabric ones. As for fabric with special coating, one of the well-known French brands producing it is Clipso.

These ceilings offer many advantages: fabric is more eco-friendly than film, they are installed using the 'cold' method, seamless ceilings due to large panel sizes, and the material does not support combustion. However, the price of such ceilings is accordingly higher.

For comparison: French suspended ceiling prices per square meter:

  • CTN – from 510 rubles;
  • CEF – from 800 rubles;
  • Clipso – from 1000 rubles.

Reviews of high-quality French suspended ceilings indicate that the price is justified: in use, they perform excellently, are easy to maintain, do not stain or fade, and the strength of the panels can even save repairs and furniture from water leaks.

Suspended Ceilings – Germany

Suspended ceilings (Germany) are manufactured by several leading companies such as Pongs and Renolit. Pongs produces both film and fabric ceilings, with their lowest price point even lower than French ceilings, yet maintaining a high level of quality. The company has been in existence for nearly a century, which plays a significant role in its selection by buyers. However, positive reviews of the product are primarily based on ceiling quality.

Technical characteristics of film ceilings do not lag behind French ones: they do not burn, panel width can reach almost four meters, available in various textures including satin, gloss, marble, etc., and over 100 colors.

PongsDescor fabric ceilings are available in several colors, including sparkles, with a width of 5.1 meters and represent high-quality ceiling coverings. German suspended ceilings from Renolit are also known for their high quality and advanced manufacturing technologies. The most popular among them are glossy films with a unique mirror-like shine.

Suspended Ceilings (Germany) prices per square meter:

  • pongs – from 470 rubles;
  • pongs Descor – from 950 rubles;
  • renolit – from 590 rubles.

Belgian Suspended Ceilings

Belgian suspended ceilings are offered on the market by Polyplast. The advantage of these ceilings is low price and variety of ceiling colors and textures. Additional benefits include a large width of 5.4 meters, seamless installation, and non-flammability.

However, websites of companies installing these ceilings often state that their use is not recommended for individuals with respiratory problems or children's rooms and kitchens. Others claim the product is completely safe and suitable for any room. Belgium has long produced plastic, but there are doubts about whether the PVC used for suspended ceilings is of Belgian origin. Some reviews suggest that the film for the Belgian brand is made in China. The company has proper sanitary documentation, but when choosing a manufacturer, it's essential to thoroughly check everything to avoid purchasing inferior goods.

Another Belgian brand of suspended ceilings is Mistral. These ceilings feature a special panel structure, fast installation without heating, the ability to print patterns, material strength, and long-term durability.

Suspended Ceilings (Belgium) price:

  • polyplast – from 350 rubles per square meter;
  • mistral – from 400 rubles/sqm.
