Installation and Connection of Heating Boilers

The choice depends on a number of factors, for example, proximity or distance of laid communications and supply systems, size of the heated room, duration of the heating season, etc. In addition, it would not be amiss to analyze local conditions from the perspective of the selected device: is the power supply continuous if it's an electric boiler, or is there sufficient gas pressure at the inlet into the room in case of installing a gas boiler.
Usually, installation rules and requirements are described separately by each manufacturer, but the operation of such equipment requires some additional knowledge about how it all works.

For example, installing a solid fuel boiler requires a clear understanding not only of where to get fuel but also of its cost and whether it is justified compared to other alternatives. However, installation of heating boilers of any type should at least have a basic economic justification.
After the fuel choice is made, you can proceed to the next preliminary stage, which also affects the quality of boiler installation — choosing a boiler model based on its type of installation. In general, the rule for selecting a boiler is: for heating small rooms, wall-mounted boilers of relatively small size and power should be used. Moreover, most wall-mounted boilers come with almost everything needed, requiring only an installation diagram for proper mounting.
Installing floor-standing heating boilers requires additional labor and often more consumable materials, which are rarely included in the equipment package. Additionally, floor-standing boilers must meet all safety standards by having a separate room, which in some cases may be an indulgence that not everyone can afford to implement—let alone do it by themselves due to lack of resources.

Installation of solid fuel heating boilers: VIDEOHeating boiler installation (video of installing solid fuel boilers is particularly illustrative in this respect), if it's not gas or electricity, also takes into account the type of fuel used for heating.
There are boilers whose installation scheme and design features allow using two or more types of fuel. The advantage of such devices is the possibility to use multiple alternative energy sources, and the only negative aspect is likely their requirement for constant monitoring of fuel consumption and supply due to non-regulated fuel delivery modes.
Nevertheless, the popularity of brands like VIADRUS, PROTHERM, RODA, DAKON even in Europe has brought about solid fuel boilers. This despite the fact that installing a gas boiler is simpler, cheaper, and faster.
As practice shows, in a very large number of regions, using gas as the main heat source is either expensive or impossible.
Based on this, local alternative fuel sources, which are mostly not needed throughout the year but only during certain periods. Adding to this, the cost of wood, coal, peat or simply dried waste is many times lower than gas or electricity, making it clear why solid fuel boilers are used so widely geographically.
Another reason to consider when discussing solid fuel boilers is that most of these models are not energy-dependent. This means the operation of such a boiler depends entirely on manual control of fuel supply and temperature used for heating the room.
In other words, such boiler models represent efficient heat-producing stoves, i.e., high-efficiency boilers.
Naturally, in such a situation, it makes no sense to discuss options for regulating useful power and energy savings — these factors depend entirely on the natural necessity of using fuel economically even when it is nearly free. Even if the price is minimal, it still represents a cost that can be optimized.

Installation of heating boilers: cost for solid fuel boilers
In general, for floor-standing boilers operating on one or more types of fuel, the installation cost in Kyiv and Moscow is approximately as follows:
- Kyiv — from 1000 UAH
- Moscow — from 5000 RUB
Usually, the package of works includes installation and mounting of solid fuel boilers, but the detailed list specifying exactly what is included should be clarified, as this service is far from standard.
Something similar can be found among services, for example, those that provide installation of heating for a cottage or dacha house from companies offering services in the engineering systems market; but don't be misled until the final estimate is formed.
