There is a choice to make: the color palette of suspended ceilings is extremely diverse. Almost every manufacturer of suspended ceilings, in addition to the standard color range, creates a unique color palette, which makes them stand out on the market.

IMPORTANT! The price of a suspended ceiling is determined based on the material it is made from, its texture, and whether it is painted or not. Naturally, the brand also matters, and the most quality and popular brands produce more expensive suspended ceilings.

Pricing for Suspended Ceilings:

Price dependence on texture. The most affordable suspended ceilings are matte, followed by satin ones, and the most expensive ones are glossy suspended ceilings. However, there are manufacturers that make satin suspended ceilings more expensive than glossy ones.

Price dependence on color. In this case, it does not matter what color your suspended ceiling will be. A white ceiling will be cheaper compared to a colored one of the same type.

Price dependence on width. It is simple: the wider the ceiling panel, the higher the price, regardless of the shade.

Regarding the variety of color palettes for suspended ceilings, the material from which it is made and, naturally, the designers' imagination play a role.

Color Range Depending on Suspended Ceiling Texture:

The largest color range is found in ceilings with a glossy (lacquered) texture, typically counting around 40-100 different shades depending on the manufacturer.

Based on the three most popular suspended ceiling manufacturers, let's look at the variety of color solutions in creating colored suspended ceilings.

Known ceiling manufacturers such as Renolit (Germany), Alkor Draka (France, Netherlands) and Lackfolio (Germany) have a similar color palette. Company Lackfolio (Germany) offers 64 colors in the palette for widths of 1.5 m and 1.8 m, and 24 colors in the palette for a width of 3.2 m. Companies Renolit (Germany) and Alkor Draka (France, Netherlands) have 59 colors in stock.

A colored ceiling will cost more than a regular white suspended ceiling. For example, ECOFOLIE (Germany) products: $25.90 for 1 m² of matte white suspended ceiling with a width of 4 m, and $28.35 for the same width matte colored suspended ceiling.

The manufacturer of CLIPSO (Germany) prices 1 m² of white suspended ceiling in widths of 3.00 m, 4.00 m and 5.10 m at $13.50, and colored suspended ceilings of the same widths at $19.50. However, not all manufacturers differentiate prices for white and colored ceilings. Manufacturers like PONGS TEXTILE (Germany) and CTN (France) do not increase prices for wider or colored panels. For example, PONGS TEXTILE (Germany) matte and satin suspended ceilings in white and colored tones in widths of 2 m, 2.7 m and 5 m cost $15. Different price categories exist at CTN (France) for matte, satin and lacquered suspended ceilings, with no difference in price based on width or color. Whether it is blue, yellow, purple, orange, green, red or black ceilings.

Undoubtedly, colored suspended ceilings set the tone for an interior, making it original and bold, leaving no one indifferent. For example, a red suspended ceiling would suit extravagant people and blend well with white walls. Specialized film up to 3 m wide is used for such colored ceilings.

How to Choose the Color of a Suspended Ceiling?

Selecting the color of a suspended ceiling, from a design perspective, is an important task. The choice made by the customer will determine the mood of the entire interior. It is important to consider the color palette of the floor and walls. The palette of suspended ceilings today is so diverse that it can be hard to choose a specific option. You can select the color of your future suspended ceiling not only in stores but also from home: most manufacturers' websites feature special color selection programs.

Additionally, some personal characteristics should be considered. The psychology of color perception is a powerful force.

For example, if a person finds it hard to relax, a bright suspended ceiling will only be irritating. For balanced people, a vibrant ceiling color will energize and add vitality.

In the first case, it is better to choose suspended ceilings in calm natural tones, such as green.

A brown-colored suspended ceiling will be appropriate if you want to add luxury and charm to the interior. It is ideal for creating a classic-style interior.

To add strictness to the interior and emphasize modernity in style, a black suspended ceiling will work well. Moreover, when using black color in the interior, it can be balanced with bright decorative elements (e.g., red, pink, turquoise, etc.).

Almost all manufacturers produce artistic suspended ceilings. Naturally, they cost much more than regular colored suspended ceilings, but the effect they create is priceless. On such a ceiling, any image can be applied at the client's request. The average price for 1 m² of an artistic ceiling is about $45.

Before choosing the color and texture of a suspended ceiling, one should carefully familiarize themselves with the palette, the manufacturer, and virtually "try on" the ceiling in a special computer program for interior design. A careful approach to this decision will help choose the most beautiful and best suspended ceilings.
