Small beautiful house in southern Spain with two terraces
Beautiful affordable interior in light tones
Periodically, all of us want to escape the noisy metropolis and enjoy nature somewhere in the sun's rays. Owner of this small house, Cristina, managed to break free from the hustle and bustle of the city and create a cozy space for herself and her family. Let's see how she decorated her dream house in southern Spain.
ConceptThe interior of the house is realized in light tones: snow-white walls, neutral furniture, and natural textiles. But it's precisely the large number of bright accents that make the surrounding atmosphere unique.

The main part of the furniture and decorative items were made by the homeowner herself, as it was not so easy to find handmade items at affordable prices.

Cristina decided to buy antiques for subsequent restoration. That's why many items look vintage but at the same time modern.
Kitchen-Living RoomThe kitchen was decided to be combined with the living room — this unites all family members and allows them to always stay close. In the center is a "marble island" — half table, half bar counter with a custom-made marble countertop. Around this island, you can see other decorative elements that set the mood for the entire room.

Doors made from natural wood, weathered by Cristina, also draw attention and harmonize well within the overall interior.

BedroomThe bedroom turned out quite colorful, but not overly elaborate. The combination of warm textile tones and natural materials made the room brighter and airier. This effect was achieved, in particular, by combining linen and wooden furniture.
The main accent in the bedroom is the vibrant wallpaper with ferns, which perfectly emphasizes the cottagecore style in the house.

BathroomFor bathroom finishing, natural materials were used — bamboo and wood. The sink with a storage cabinet for accessories were also individually aged by Cristina.
Two TerracesThe real highlight of the house is having two terraces. They are arranged so that one offers a view of sunrise, and the other of sunset.
