The coziest lofts from our heroes' projects

For many balconies are still just extra spaces for storing items: bicycles, dryers, or boxes from tech equipment. But the space can be transformed into a full-fledged relaxation zone: here it's pleasant to read your favorite book, enjoy sunsets, and watch movies.

We've collected seven atmospheric balconies from our heroes' projects that can inspire change.

Zone for work and relaxation

This apartment was designed by Vasiliya Maksimadzhi's studio for a young client. The girl trusted experienced professionals completely, and as a result of their work, an incredible loft appeared: it's intended for the owner to relax with loved ones or work.

For interior decoration, vivid tones were chosen: one wall was painted yellow, and a sofa added even more color. Additional coziness came from the combination of sunny tones and natural wood.

Designer Olga Semchenko came up with the interior design for a young couple who love traveling and rarely host guests. Natural tones dominate in the space, along with trendy blue and green.

The balcony deserves special attention, as it is a real green oasis! Abundance of plants, a comfortable breakfast or long conversation area — we're sure many dream of such a place in their home.

Designer Dina Udaltsova transformed a trapezoidal-shaped apartment into ergonomic and stylish living. The kitchen was relocated and made through, the loft insulated and furnished with a workspace right on the windowsill. The interior in a gray-pink color palette looks vibrant yet not excessive.Photo: Style, Balcony, Guide – photos on our website

The main feature of the loft is an accent wall with elements of rusted pipes and stabilized moss. It seems like nature breaks through concrete jungles right before our eyes. A small convenient table, chair, and green plants are located here too.

A small but stylish balcony

An apartment for a student girl, designed by designer Svetlana Gavrilova, combined a comfortable place for rest and a venue for parties. The client wanted the kitchen to resemble a trendy London bar — they succeeded completely.

A small balcony was decorated tastefully: style candle holders, decorative pillows with prints, and plants helped.

Union of beauty and functionality

Designer Marina Svetlova created a project for the client’s mother's apartment — a new interior should be a surprise. The house was planned with all necessary amenities, and the loft was turned into a relaxation and storage zone.

This approach allowed combining pleasantness with usefulness: every item has its place, and after a stressful day, the balcony is where you want to relax and admire the city view.

For lovers of minimalism

In this project, two apartments were joined into one large space: there's room for everything. The apartment includes a kitchen-living room, bedroom with walk-in closet, and bathroom, and from the office you can go out to the loft and relax from work.
