Protect the grill from rain

The main threat to a grill is accumulated water on the bottom. The liquid seeps inside, mixes with ash and becomes charcoal paste. After drying, the mixture hardens like cement, making it almost impossible to remove. Therefore, it is important to protect the grill from rain!

Prevent ignition

Leakage is the main source of fires in gas grills. Always check it before using: add a small amount of soapy water to the gas hose — if there are holes in it, soap bubbles will start to come out. You must not cook on such a grill!

What to do if the grill catches fire?

  • Close the lid to cut off oxygen supply.

  • Turn off the gas.

  • Use a fire extinguisher if one is at hand. Make sure it's suitable for extinguishing burning oil, otherwise the fire will only get stronger.
