How Does a Comfortable Interior Arise?

Familiar scents, light streaming through windows, and all traces of daily life make my heart beat with joy every time. However, this is a personal side of each home. Photos serve as inspiration rather than a guide on how a house should look.

A COMFORTABLE INTERIOR IS ONE WHERE YOU FEEL AT EASE

Is it true that people who want to surround themselves with color live indifferently in colorless homes and do nothing about it (if walls can't be painted for any reason, is it possible to use textiles to add color to the interior, for example)?

And why is it always emphasized that a lack of color automatically indicates a lack of courage or (even worse) personality?

We believe that contrasting light 'Scandinavian homes' with colorful ones is really tiring (after all, this is purely a matter of taste). A timeless, sturdy and cozy interior design (whether light or colorful) is created through trust in your own taste, regardless of what trendy fashion is currently popular.

Instead, bright colors and rich materials demand my attention and drain energy. So that I can work creatively or relax, my surroundings must produce as few stimuli as possible (i.e., without scent and taste like others think).

Prefer Natural Materials

Always choose materials closest to nature, such as organic cotton, linen, hemp or bamboo and wood (local wood is always a safe choice. Finnish forests are mostly certified according to responsible principles. The further the wood was produced, the harder it is to trace its origin.)

Our favorites are neutral and earth tones, but sometimes if you want more color in life, it's always possible to replace a chair with a yellow zip-up upholstery and add several multicolored cushions on the sofa (floral patterns are the best choice). The look of a room changes dramatically with such simple measures.

Wool rugs, embroidery or oriental rugs will definitely add color and warmth to a completely white interior. If they don't seem natural, the same effect can be achieved with neutral rugs made from jute, sisal or wool. They are perfect for children and livestock.
