Suspended ceilings. France became the pioneer of this new type of ceiling coating. About three decades ago, a French company manufactured a ceiling using a completely new technology. The vinyl film, which is now famous for French suspended ceilings, was stretched under the regular ceiling. As a result, after cooling, a ceiling with a perfectly smooth surface was obtained. Today, the most worthy successor to the traditions of French manufacturers is the company Creations et Techniques Nouvelles (CTN).

Today, this is one of the largest holding companies producing suspended fabrics that meet all quality standards. CTN is a member company of the European community of manufacturers, and along with other companies honored with this distinction, develops a unified standard for suspended ceilings. The most well-known manufacturers of French suspended ceilings are: CTN (Creations et Techniques Nouvelles), SEF.

Suspended Ceilings: China

Over the years, a stereotype has formed that the quality of products from China is far from the best, and it's not worth buying this product. However, it should be noted that there are both low-quality Chinese products and products of impeccable quality. The same applies to construction materials, including Chinese suspended ceilings. PVC film for suspended ceilings made in China can be of excellent quality, it's important to know the manufacturing companies.

The film withstands water pressure in case of flooding from neighbors, up to 100 liters of water per square meter, hides all unevennesses and ceiling level differences, usually differs in heat resistance.

Chinese film is produced with a width of 3.1 to 5.5 meters, the thickness is on average 0.13 mm. The film composition is PVC. The material is non-flammable, installed with heating. The choice is available in matte, glossy or satin film. The advantages of Chinese suspended ceilings: The main advantage of the film produced in China can be considered the width of the strip up to 5 meters, which allows installing seamless ceilings on large areas. This is the maximum value, other manufacturers do not offer such strip widths.

The fabric has good thermal shrinkage properties, provides minimal sagging, elasticity at a high level. It does not electrify, moisture and condensation do not accumulate on it, it is resistant to ignition. And of course, low cost compared to other manufacturers.

Clipso Suspended Ceilings

The company Clipso (Switzerland) has existed since 1997. This year it patented a unique mounting technology for suspended ceilings, and in 2000 a new ceiling system was patented. Its basis was synthetic fabric of complex knitted construction, manufactured on a wide loom and finally impregnated with polyurethane. The width of the fabric could reach 5 meters, which allowed getting rid of unwanted seams.

Despite the fact that the fabric density is only 240 g/m², it is 15-20 times stronger than PVC film. For many years now, this company has been a leader in sales of suspended ceilings in EU countries, USA, Russia.

Since 2005, the products of Swiss company Clipso have appeared on the Russian market.

They are suitable for wall finishing plus they improve sound and thermal insulation. They can be installed in any rooms, even with high air humidity. Fast and easy installation. Dry mounting method. "Clean" installation. Has a fire safety certificate, sanitary-epidemiological conclusion. Does not condense moisture. Impact resistant. No need for prior room preparation. Warranty over 10 years. TVCH Machines for Suspended Ceilings

Manufacturing suspended ceilings using special equipment. These are installations that operate on high-frequency currents (TVCH) and thanks to them, from polyvinyl chloride film (PVC film), a suspended ceiling is created. Using TVCH machines helps produce suspended ceilings in industrial quantities.
