Snow White Kitchen 8 m² in a Standard Two-Room Apartment
Dina Salakhova transformed the interior of a standard kitchen and created a unique space that meets all the client's wishes
For decorating the kitchen in a two-room apartment in a standard brick house in the center of Moscow, designer Dina Salakhova chose an unconventional layout and a snow-white color.
The project work started with a capital re-planning. For this, all existing walls were demolished and new ones were built. The small kitchen was merged with the living room: several large built-in wardrobes were provided here.

Kitchen furniture was made to order in a carpentry workshop due to the planned complex configuration. The cabinet wraps around the eight-meter kitchen perimeter, and all elements are united by a countertop made of artificial stone.

Engineered parquet was chosen for the floor. For the walls, paint was selected, which is a natural and easy-to-maintain material. The calm milk-white shade was taken as the basis.

Heating radiator was hidden behind snow-white perforated panels, which look more aesthetically pleasing and do not obstruct the flow of warm air into the room. The designer maximized the use of all available space. Open shelves were designed in the wall niche for dishes and decor, and the adjacent wall was coated with graphite paint so that notes can be left.
