Designers expanded the bathroom by using the corridor space and provided storage systems. The interior was based on Scandinavian style, which they made more vibrant in color

Designers from Carton Group completed a renovation in a separate bathroom in a 1970s brick apartment building. As a result of the reconfiguration, they moved the old entrance to the kitchen but did not combine the toilet and bathroom. They only increased the bathroom area by using the corridor, leaving the toilet in its original layout.

Of course, the clients wanted a convenient bathroom that met modern demands — with a washing machine and storage for household chemicals. That is why they expanded the bathroom area by using the corridor space. The washing machine was placed next to the bathtub, and the sink and storage niche were created on the former corridor area.

Thanks to dominant light tile, well-organized lighting, and a play with color accents (sun yellow became the accent in the entire apartment), the space feels more spacious than it actually is.

In the toilet, all utilities were hidden behind an installation. A convenient niche with lighting was created. The same combination of white "pig" tile and rectangular yellow tile was used in the finishing as in the adjacent bathroom. This makes the spaces look harmonious.
