Incredibly Stylish and Functional Kitchen, 6.6 sqm

Designer Anna Akshhevskaya redesigned a two-room apartment into a loft. As a result of the renovation, a more spacious kitchen-living room was created, which is separated by a glass partition in the loft style.

To simplify movement through the apartment, they opted for arched openings instead of regular doors and separated the kitchen from the living room with a sliding partition. The gas was removed and an electric stove was installed — it's safer this way.

The kitchen was custom-made. Built-in appliances are placed at a convenient height in the cabinet columns. Upper cabinets are centered on the wall, with mirror-colored facades that look unusual and expand the space. The black frame of the facades echoes the black elements on the sliding partition.

Ceramic granite with a terrazzo pattern was used for the kitchen backsplash and floor. Note that the scale of the pattern on the floor is slightly larger than that on the backsplash. Since the kitchen facades are monochromatic, without carving or frames, the vivid pattern does not irritate.

The windowsill was made from artificial stone and widened to create a bar counter by the window. The radiator was slightly moved aside to leave comfortable space for feet.
