Stylish interior in the neoclassical style

Designers from Carmine Home studio decorated a super-stylish interior in a small apartment in the ЖК "Symbol". The area is small — only 38 sq. m, yet the neoclassical style is not the most standard choice for such a space. Nevertheless, the project authors managed to implement all the customer's wishes. We've gathered the most interesting ideas in this article.

Neutral base and accent details

Neoclassicism is a reinterpretation of classical style techniques and solutions in a modern context. This style takes the best from its predecessors, while freeing itself from heaviness, an abundance of detailed decoration, and contrasting color combinations. The base color was chosen to be a soft gray-beige velvet paint with noble golden and brass details: hardware, door frames, and lighting fixtures that are hard to imagine in a classic interior without.

Kitchen apron made of beautiful and striking tiles

The highlight of the interior is a luxurious apron made from tiles with colored and golden veins. On one hand, it blends perfectly with elements in a neoclassical style; on the other — adds brutality and complexity to the interior.

Large light fixtures

No need to go small with lighting. Neoclassicism welcomes large pendant chandeliers and standout wall sconces, which create a feeling of luxury and elegance.

Wall mirrors

The living room wall was decorated using a vibrant fresco with an abstract pattern in golden tones. A mirror panel above the dining table and in the living room visually lifts the ceiling.

Teal elements

Teal-colored details and accessories beautifully accentuate the space, help set focal points, and pair wonderfully with golden elements in the interior. The key is to use only premium materials, such as dense velvet for curtains and cushions.

Black plumbing fixtures

Gold mixers and shower stalls are often used for neoclassical interiors. However, in this project, designers chose black plumbing fixtures — and they didn't make a mistake. Contrasting details look very interesting and do not contradict the stylistic approach.
