Wow! Bright Kitchen with Thoughtful Storage and Built-in Aquarium
Such a kitchen cabinet you haven't seen yet!
Designer Marina Fedoshchuk came up with an incredibly functional kitchen with a bar counter, dining area, and built-in aquarium, and the Jim Wood furniture studio helped bring the project to life. They manufactured an angular cabinet with blue enamel and veneer doors. We tell you the details.
Layout
Angular cabinet: along one wall, lower and upper rows of cabinets were placed to the ceiling. This part of the kitchen ends with a small bar counter — for breakfasts and quick snacks.
Blue doors are made from MDF in enamel. The central part is without upper cabinets, and only a cylindrical hood was placed on the wall. To hide the utilities, a gypsum board box was extended to the ceiling. The kitchen apron is tiled all the way to the ceiling.

The section by the window — several tall cabinet columns with built-in appliances and storage systems. This area was highlighted with finishing touches, and the cabinets were extended to the ceiling.
Drawers are made from HDF Kronospan. Storage SystemsThe kitchen stands out with very thoughtful storage. The designer planned both closed storage sections and open shelves where you can place something beautiful. For more convenience, LED lighting was built-in, working with a sensor.

The lower row is fully extendable. Next to the sink is a dish-drying rack. On the right — a large wide drawer for utensils. Everything else is for storing household appliances and household items. At Jim Wood, they selected convenient handles and high-quality guides and hardware to make the drawers as easy to use as possible.

A large pull-out section was provided for storing oils, grains, and various bottles. The client loved this solution. The drawer also houses household appliances — a microwave oven, oven, and refrigerator.
The upper row is a tall cabinet with a small but functional design that works entirely on the Blum Tip-on mechanism (opens by pressing).

Built-in Aquarium
The highlight of the kitchen is an aquarium. The main goal of the project was not only to incorporate the aquarium into the cabinet but also to plan access. The top section of the aquarium with hinged doors allows access to the aquarium — for maintenance and feeding the fish.

In one of the cabinet columns, all utilities were laid out — electricity, outlets through which the connection to systems is made. Lighting was installed that turns on by timer and provides the fish with the required daylight.
The lower section is a utility block where the equipment is stored. It had to be open because workers occasionally come to service the aquarium. For this reason, a magnetic door was made that is easy to remove.
The bottom of the aquarium also has a hinged door where you can store fish food and nets. How cleverly thought out storage in a Provence-style kitchenMore photos and all details here
