How to Decorate a Bedroom? Ideas from Designers
Third of our lives we spend sleeping, and even more time is spent in the bedroom, so everything in it should make us happy. Unlike the living room, we design a bedroom for ourselves, not for show, and fill it with what we want. A console table or a desk, a breakfast table or a bookshelf – choose what appeals to you most.
1. Spring Atmosphere
Designer Anna Pavlovskaya named her project "Seasons of the Year": each room has its own color and corresponds to one particular season. In the bedroom, there is eternal spring. The wardrobe is painted in the same mint color as the walls and does not disrupt the overall harmony. The headboard is upholstered with a checkered fabric.

Anastasia Tuganova designed wallpaper for her clients' bedroom, which was produced in a single copy specifically for this project. Opposite the wall is a low TV stand and shelf that serves as a vanity table.

In a bedroom decorated by Nadezhda Zотовa, there is something to look at: it's the soft velvet headboard, a vintage armchair, and angels on paintings by Svetlana Perotti – it seems like these very angels gave the whole room a rich turquoise color. Instead of two identical bedside tables, this bedroom has a wooden cabinet with open and closed shelves and a metal bookshelf.

In the bedroom of a fashionable Minsk photographer, many surfaces are made of natural wood, making it look warm and cozy. The wardrobe, which is part of the bedroom, was designed by designer Evgenia Lychasova from cold materials: metal and glass. Linen curtains soften the transition, hiding the wardrobe.

5. Moroccan Motifs
Lightana Gavrilova in one project combined two styles: she wove Moroccan motifs into American classic. In a bedroom decorated in soft pastel tones, the Eastern accent is given by details: lamps, mirror frame, and pattern of the fabric used for the headboard.

Sometimes the West moves towards the East, not the other way around. The studio with a cozy bedroom belongs to a girl who lives with her parents in an upscale suburb and studies in the center of Pattaya. To allow her to stay in the city, designer Svetlana Ilyina created a cozy girl's space on one of the upper floors of a 30-meter "tower".

In a small bedroom, architect Milla Titova managed to fit in a console area for the housewife. It consists of a spacious wardrobe with a full-wall mirror and a vanity table to the left of the TV. The console cabinet hanging over the vertical mirror helped solve the task. Built-in lighting framing the mirror creates a makeup mirror effect and visually raises the ceiling.

8. Ornament Dictates
Again, the mysterious East. The bedroom design by decorator Anastasia Kamenkaya started with buying curtains with an antique pattern by Gaston y Daniela. For support, they chose fabric for the headboard, which also belongs to the Gaston y Daniela collection but with a less large print. Pillows on the bed were selected to match the color. Vintage turquoise sconces were found by chance at the end.

9. Brutal Version
Sergey Bakharev suggested to his client that they turn a regular Moscow apartment into a loft, and placed the bedroom in a niche next to the kitchen. The window allows watching whether breakfast is ready on the kitchen counter. The headboard, in line with the loft style, is made from sliced wood.

10. Going Up the Stairs
In this apartment, one needs to climb the stairs to reach the bedroom. The owner of a historical house who approached the SPACE FOR LIFE bureau wanted to preserve a feeling of spaciousness, so 48 square meters were not divided into parts. The entire household area was moved to the wardrobe, above which the bedroom was placed. Bed linen is stored in built-in modules in the floor.
