Make a Difference — Paint or Decorate Ceilings?
If you are considering a change or new design for your home but don't want to spend a lot of money, take a look at the ceilings, and you'll realize they also exist and can contribute to your home's decor.
Traditionally, it is said that ceilings should be painted white. But pure white. Not off-white or beige like the walls. Indeed, this small difference makes a distinction or shows a line between ceiling and wall, creating a sense of cleanliness.
PinterestWhite ceilings push them away from the walls and make the space visually taller, but now that we talk so much about privacy and home feeling, is there a better way than using ceilings to create these feelings?
A painted ceiling intensifies the sense of a 'box' in any room and can help us feel more protected. Therefore, it is an excellent resource for bedrooms. If you're lucky enough to have high ceilings, painting them a different color from the walls will make them visually 'lower'. This is widely used in bathrooms where high ceilings create a sense of 'coldness' which can be solved with paint.
Partially painted ceiling is a simple way to zone and define the boundaries of space without losing useful floor area.
If you want to eliminate borders, paint the ceiling the same color as the walls. Of course, ceilings also allow using wallpapers to create contrasts and an attractive focal point.
