In today's world, very few housewives still wash clothes by hand. That is the prerogative of washing machines. But regardless of whether your machine is automatic, semi-automatic, or manual — dirty laundry needs to be collected somewhere. Some people, without much thought, put it directly into the washing machine and sort it before washing. We suggest building a laundry basket. The advantages of such a laundry basket are obvious — it easily fits into the interior of any bathroom, you can choose the size yourself, the material can be changed over time, and the cost of such a basket is not high.

So, to build such a basket, we will need:

  • spacers, screws
  • wheels
  • mesh made of galvanized steel wire
  • fabric for lining
  • a wooden circle as the base.

Take the base circle and wrap it with galvanized steel mesh. Trim excess using wire cutters. Leave a small reserve of 5-7 centimeters at the bottom.

Our laundry basket is ready. All that's left is to sew an inner cover according to the size and secure it.

By the way, such a basket can be used not only for storing dirty laundry. If you make the cover on both the inside and outside, it can be placed in a child's room for toys!
