Historical atmosphere and modern solutions met in a stylish bathroom

A bathroom in an apartment with history requires a special approach. In a pre-revolutionary house of 61 square meters, designer Olga Semasheva decorated the interior so as to preserve the atmosphere of the era and at the same time make the space functional and convenient for a young family. Even in a small bathroom, it was possible to combine practicality and aesthetics: take note of the interesting solutions.

For finishing, a combination of tiles and paint was used. The designer chose ribbed and smooth tiles that together create an interesting relief and visually complicate the wall surface. This technique helps avoid monotony and adds depth to the interior.

The main accent in the bathroom is a spacious shower cubicle, which was separated by glass doors so that the room does not lose light. Transparent partitions make the interior more modern and help avoid a feeling of cramped space in a small area.

Even under limited space, the designer managed to place thoughtful storage solutions. A functional cabinet was installed under the sink that holds household items and care products, while an additional cabinet was added above the fixture.

Despite its compactness, the bathroom turned out to be very cozy. Everything was thought through down to the smallest detail: from finishing materials to furniture and plumbing layout. The room became an example of how a modern and convenient bathroom can be designed while preserving the character of an old house.
