How to Store Things in a Studio Apartment: 7 Great Ideas
Simple and effective solutions from a designer's project
Studio apartments can be a real challenge for their owners, especially when it comes to storing things. However, with a creative approach and functional design, even small spaces can be organized to be stylish and comfortable. Let's look at 7 great ideas from Olga Philippova's project.
Full-Height Cabinets
Cabinets with doors reaching the ceiling not only create a sense of height and visually expand the space, but also allow for maximum storage efficiency. Upper shelves can be used to store dishes and appliances that are not used daily.

Drawers Under the Window Sill
In the kitchen, additional storage space under the window sill was used. It houses tableware and other small items. This freed up room in other cabinets and made the window a stylish accent.

Hooks in the Foyer
In the foyer, there are clothing hooks on the wall placed at different heights — designed with children's height in mind. This approach saves space in wardrobes for other items and makes the foyer more organized and convenient.

Wall-Mounted Console with Shelf
A compact wall-mounted console-shelf is also provided in the foyer. This is an ideal solution for small spaces. It takes up little room and can be used to store small items like keys, documents, or decorative elements.

Integrated Wardrobe in Wall Color
To save precious centimeters between the bedroom and study, a wardrobe with access from both sides was installed, to which a suspended ceiling was stretched. From the bedroom side, the doors are solid and match the wall color. The storage system inside is tailored to the client's needs, allowing all belongings to be stored compactly.

Shelving Around the Windowsill
The shelves installed on both sides of the window in the child's room serve not only for storage but also as a space decoration. They can be used to house books, textbooks, toys, plants and accessories.

Under-Sink Cabinet
The wall-mounted cabinet in the bathroom frees up floor space and creates an illusion of a larger area. It is convenient for storing bath accessories and personal care items that should always be within reach.

By applying these simple and effective solutions, Olga Philippova successfully organized storage and created a space that is both functional and comfortable for everyday life.
