Clever layout, convenient kitchen, and a personal wardrobe!

This apartment is located in a building from the 1960s, where a young woman lives. Designer Ekaterina Mishukova did a re-planning and created a modern interior with soft accents. She used the neoclassical style as a basis. The result is an elegant and minimalist atmosphere in which classical forms and modern trends blend harmoniously.

Layout of the Apartment (15 minutes)

Previously, a man lived in this apartment, and it had a standard renovation. The walls were covered with dark wallpaper, and the floor was lined with linoleum. Inside, there were two isolated rooms, a narrow corridor with attic space above the ceiling. The apartment was cramped, uncomfortable, and required an update. The main task was to re-plan the space and create a light, bright interior for a young and active woman.

About the Layout and Renovation

As a result of the re-planning, the wall between the narrow corridor and the rooms was removed, creating an open space. The bedroom was separated from the main area by a curtain. In the end, there were a living room, a bedroom with a wardrobe, a kitchen, and a combined bathroom. The interior was decorated in a neoclassical style with minimalist elements, mainly in white tones.

About the Kitchen

The kitchen area is only 6 square meters. They disconnected from gas, and the pipe was hidden in cabinets. Ceramic granite was laid on the floor, and the walls were painted with washable paint and decorated with moldings and ceiling cornices in a classical style.

A linear kitchen unit with upper cabinets reaching the ceiling was custom-made. The designers tried to fit everything needed according to the client's request: a built-in refrigerator, a 2-burner stove, and an extractor hood. A washing machine is hidden behind one of the lower cabinet doors.
