Bathroom with Vintage Mirror and Salt Storage
Designers Arina Olesejuk and Olesia Karpova turned a former kitchen into an unusual bathroom with a window, vintage furniture, and a cellar under the floor. The blue tile shade recalls glaze, while the bold red bathtub sets the rhythm: its support is painted in the same tone as the pipes and radiator. The floor features vintage black-and-white tiles.

Gold plumbing adds a noble shine. A hatch hidden under the tiles leads to an actual cellar with shelves for storing wine and salt.

Anna Pelipchuk designed this bathroom in a cheerful vacation apartment and managed to make it highly expressive with minimal budget. Standard marble-like tiles were used for finishing, which she was able to buy from the developer, and the layout was restructured: a bathtub was replaced with a shower cabin, fixtures were installed, and the sink was relocated.
Design: Anna PelipchukThe main accent here is stylistic: a shower with a black profile and matte fixtures contrast with wooden finishing and red glass block inserts. Instead of a cabinet, there is an open countertop. A textile red skirt is attached under it, setting the tone. The round mirror above the sink supports the idea of simplicity with a twist.

Designer Svetlana Pletneva arranged the bathroom in a small Sochi studio. In the interior, practicality and a light resort style were combined. Walls were tiled with milky glossy tiles, and the accent blue zone in the shower freshens up the space. The same tiles were used on the wall with fixtures.
Design: Svetlana PletnevaTo avoid overloading the interior and budget, an open cabinet with a wooden countertop was installed under the sink, and a washing machine was placed. A light fixture with a pink insert above the mirror adds a cheerful note to the interior.

Designer Olga Dubrovskaya transformed a bathroom in a studio apartment in Minsk intended for rent. The budget was limited, so the focus was placed on color and expressive finishing. The main accent is a burgundy shade that highlights the upper part of the walls and ceiling, creating an effect of the room being built into a niche.
Design: Olga DubrovskayaFor added dynamism, terrazzo-like tiles with a turquoise background and dark speckles were used on the floor. White rectangular tiles on the walls maintain the geometric theme. An oval mirror and a minimalist retro-style light fixture hang above the wooden countertop. Functionality is also well thought out: a washing machine fits under the countertop, and all fixtures are compact and modern.

Designer Sara Mikhailova decorated the bathroom in a tiny Moscow studio for a student. Here, strict minimalism and unexpected accents are combined: for example, a round mirror in a bright red frame. The main finishing is done in neutral tones: the lower part of the walls and floor are tiled like stone, while the upper part is finished with white matte panels.
Design: Sara MikhailovaBlack details — built-in mixers, accessories, hardware, and the contour of the shower cabin — create a clear rhythm. A wall-mounted cabinet with a bowl-shaped sink provides storage, and a multifunctional mini-table adds liveliness to the interior.

Designers Julia Shmidt and Alexandra Taranova designed a bathroom in a studio where every corner is a distinct space with its own character. The shower area is clad in expressive tiles with a large graphic pattern resembling fabric with a classic “goose foot” print. A bold move sets the tone for the entire interior.
Design: Julia Shmidt and Alexandra TaranovaThe black-and-white palette is maintained with contrasting details: minimalist mixers, neat metal shelves, and wooden blinds on the window. In this compact space, practicality and design daring were successfully combined.
