Bright First Impression: How the Entrance Hall Is Organized in a 32 m² Studio
The entrance area turned out to be practical, stylish, and memorable at the same time
Decorating the entrance hall is an important step. It's exactly what forms the first impression of the space, and it determines how comfortable and pleasant it is for residents to come home. In the 32 m² studio project, designer Julia Pоздняк showed how even a modestly sized area can be transformed into a functional space that sets the tone for the entire apartment.
Design: Julia PозднякThe main trick is working with color. The door and one of the walls in the entrance hall are painted in eucalyptus green, setting the overall palette for the entire interior. This approach helps avoid visual fragmentation and makes the room feel whole: the entrance hall is not perceived as a separate corridor but rather as a logical continuation of the kitchen and living room.

It's not only convenient (you can sit on it while putting on shoes), but also works as a vibrant 'hello'—adding energy and a bit of irony from the very first step. The pouf is supported by black details—shoe rack, door frame, and remote control.
Design: Julia PозднякStorage in the entrance hall is minimalistic: there's a built-in cabinet, the fronts of which are made from the same finish as the kitchen unit. This preserves visual cleanliness and avoids overloading the small space with unnecessary details. Closed sections are provided for coats, bags, and household items: it's easy to keep order in the entrance hall.
Design: Julia PозднякSpecial attention deserves the lighting: the ceiling track light provides soft, directional illumination, while decorative lighting from other zones of the apartment complements the overall lighting scenario.
Design: Julia PозднякA small but thoughtfully designed entrance hall demonstrates how color and details can be used to create an expressive space that will delight every day and remain comfortable and functional.
