How to Organize Storage in a Eurostudio: 5 Ideas Inspired by Our Heroes
Every centimeter is functional: from the wardrobe to hidden compartments
A eurostudio of 54 m² is not much if you want a relaxation area, bedroom, and comfortable storage without clutter. In this project, designer Victoria Shapovalova proved that even on a limited area, you can do without unnecessary visual noise while not sacrificing convenience.
We tell you which techniques to note down to keep order and make storage a part of the interior.
Zone the entrance hall with a built-in wardrobe
At the entrance to the apartment, there is a spacious cabinet with smooth light-colored fronts. It aligns in depth with the rest of the wall, so it doesn't stand out from the geometry and looks like an architectural element.

Light surfaces and a mirror insert make the space visually wider. You can store outerwear, shoes, and seasonal items inside.
Use a wardrobe instead of a utility room
The apartment originally had a utility room, but the designer suggested redistributing its area in favor of a wardrobe. This freed up space in the bedroom from unnecessary furniture — all clothes and household items are now hidden behind sliding doors.

Vibrant wallpaper with dragonflies makes the wardrobe a separate decorative accent. Such storage is convenient, spacious, and doesn't disrupt the aesthetics of the main area.
Add closed storage systems in the kitchen
The kitchen cabinet is placed on two opposite walls. On one side — a tall column with built-in appliances and a refrigerator, on the other — a work surface with lower cabinets and upper modules.

All is done in a unified palette, making the storage system invisible and minimalist. Since the kitchen is part of the common space, it's important that it looks restrained and neat.
Choose furniture with additional functionality
In the living room area, a sofa with a large storage box is installed. It's perfect for seasonal textiles, spare cushions, or items that are not used daily.

This is especially convenient in a rental apartment, where every detail matters. At the same time, the sofa remains an accent in the room thanks to its deep marsala color.
Add storage in functional zones
In the living room area, neat niches are used to store everyday items within sight. Thanks to careful placement, they don't create visual noise.

This solution makes access to needed items easier and serves as a decorative element at the same time. For example, in the dining area, you can place books, plants, or serving dishes on shelves.
