The hallway is the first thing guests see. It's important that the entry area is not only beautiful but also functional. However, in small apartments, this space is often limited, which means every element needs to be planned down to the smallest detail.

Anastasia, a textile designer, decorated her 38-square-meter apartment in St. Petersburg herself, creating an interior that reflects her taste and style. The hallway deserves special attention.

During the renovation, no re-planning was done, but three functional zones were carefully designed: the kitchen-living room, a workspace by the window, and a bedroom with a 'rabbit hole' effect. For maximum convenience, attention was paid to well-thought-out storage systems, thoughtful lighting, and techniques that visually expand the space.

The hallway became an important part of the interior. The main accent was made with Peronda brand tiles featuring a striking pattern. Despite their high cost, the decision was made to cut costs in other areas in order to invest in this decorative element.

The built-in wardrobe was extended to the ceiling, which allowed for convenient storage of seasonal items without cluttering the space. For the doors, a combination of LDP and venetian blind fronts was used, which were individually coated with oil in the desired shade.
