Light Tones

Light and pastel tones are best suited for small spaces. They create a sense of lightness and airiness and visually expand the area. To enliven the interior, a vibrant accent was added — a painting in the dining area. Textured upholstery of soft furniture and cozy textiles added volume and comfort.

Minimalism in Decor

In small rooms, it is best to avoid an abundance of items and decor. It's better to choose a few stylish accessories that reflect your taste but do not overcrowd the space. For this living room, a few colored accents were chosen: an original bright painting and live greenery.

The opening between the corridor and the kitchen-living room was widened, allowing placement of columns with appliances. This solution visually expanded the space and enabled rational use of area, freeing the wall above the work surface of the kitchen cabinet from bulky shelves.

In the living room, the dining and TV area were marked with moldings, and the sofa group was highlighted with a textured rug. In the bedroom, the sleeping area is visually defined by green wall color, and the wardrobe is separated with a light glass partition.

Furniture choice is a key point in a small apartment. Choose smaller pieces: compact sofa, round table on a high stand, furniture on thin legs, minimalist coffee tables and nightstands.
