Create a space that inspires and delights every day

A bathroom is not only a functional area but also a place for relaxation and self-care. Choosing the right materials, shades, and lighting can transform even a small room into a stylish and cozy corner.

We've gathered five examples where designers showed creativity while keeping practicality in mind. Each project features a unique combination of ideas that inspire interior updates.

Contrast Solutions and Antiques

Designer Olga Kripunova decorated two bathrooms in her apartment, focusing on functionality and distinctive details. In the large bathroom, walls are tiled up to two meters high, protecting them from moisture and creating a fresh, clean atmosphere.

Decorating the space is a unique piece of furniture – an antique oak cabinet with hand-carved details, which Olga found on Avito. "It was once part of a large suite, and now, after restoration, it serves us for storing small items," the designer shares.

The second, more compact bathroom is decorated more simply: the walls are painted, as there's no bathtub or shower here. This solution makes the space visually light and preserves overall minimalism.

The materials blend harmoniously, creating a vibrant and dynamic composition. Ceramic granite on the floor adds character to the room and an ideal atmosphere for relaxation.

Unique Atmosphere and Thoughtful Accents

Designer Oxana Oleynik decorated an incredible two-bedroom apartment in the style of Vermeer's paintings. The bathroom is a perfect example of successful color combination – terracotta and green tones. Using varied-format tiles added depth and expressiveness to the walls, while white and black graphic inserts gave a modern look.

Special attention was paid to the floor: small-format tiles with a "goose foot" pattern became a stylish solution connecting the bathroom to other areas of the apartment. To save space, the shower cabin was built into a niche, and the wall-mounted sink on the tiled countertop emphasized the lightness and practicality of the interior.
