We've collected solutions for various spaces: from a tiny studio to a three-room apartment

Storage is a painful issue not only for studio owners. If you don't plan enough storage space, a small room can turn into a cluttered mess. To prevent items from filling free space, it's important to analyze your needs and plan every area down to the smallest detail.

Struggling to find space for everything without cluttering the room with wardrobes? Our designers found the answer: we're borrowing solutions worth adopting.

Wardrobe behind a partial partition and cabinet at an angle

The design of this three-room apartment was planned by the homeowners themselves: there's plenty of space here, and storage was given special attention. On the kitchen, the cabinet was designed at an angle: tall wall cabinets serve for built-in appliances, and upper cabinets were not added in the sink and cooktop area — this makes the composition look whole and does not overload the room. The lower cabinets are white in color — they continue the monochrome wall.

For storing books, family photos, and decor, a shelf was installed: space for an air conditioner was left in the upper part. From the living room, the entrance hall is visible, so it didn't want to be cluttered with items: a wardrobe was allocated in the bedroom. However, it wasn't fully isolated — the partition was not made across the full width of the room, and this approach even looks more interesting.

INMYROOM Tip: In a wardrobe, it's hard to find space for an iron and an ironing board, not to mention fitting them into the interior. A vertical steamer would be a great alternative: the EUES200B model from French SteamOne helps you tidy clothes in just a few minutes. Stylish design and the ability to detach the cable allow the steamer to become part of the interior — it doesn't need to be hidden in a cabinet.

The EUES200B vertical steamer gently cares not only for delicate fabrics but also for dense materials. At the same time, the process doesn't take up much of your time: ironing doesn't require an hour on a weekend — the device heats up in just 45 seconds. If you still want to steam a wardrobe for a week, the steamer will provide continuous operation for up to 80 minutes.

You can also forget about the ironing board — steaming is vertical. Also, there are no additional elements that would weigh down the interior. There's no need to constantly take out and put away the board in the cabinet.

Steam is provided by heating, not pressure, and the device is equipped with a splash-proof system: the steamer won't burn silk dresses or leave shiny spots on suits.

The steamer can handle pleated skirts and complex folds. The model is versatile thanks to three modes: delicate fabrics (silk), powerful (cotton, wool) and enhanced — for linen and other demanding materials.

SteamOne has considered not only functionality and aesthetics but also safety: the device will shut off if the water runs out, and the steamer is equipped with scale protection — it can be used even with tap water.

Three-sided cabinet and original storage in the bedroom

A client approached the designers from "Malitsky Studio" who wanted to create an ergonomic space with smart storage systems. The idea worth borrowing is a three-sided kitchen cabinet working on all sides (front and side). On the open shelves on the sides, there is decor, vases, and a small portion of dishes, while behind glass — glasses and other essentials. Most of the furniture was custom-made according to the designers' sketches.

The second find is an amazing organization of the sleeping area. The designers provided a lifting mechanism, and steps with sliding drawers — these can hide bedding sets or off-season clothes. In the bedroom, there are two additional narrow wardrobes for clothing.

INMYROOM Tip: Many people store off-season clothes in drawers under the bed or on the attic. When we take clothes out of wardrobes, it takes a lot of time to restore the appearance of skirts and pants. With a vertical steamer EUES200B, as well as other models from the line, you can quickly tidy up the entire wardrobe.

The steamer saves not only time but also money: thanks to the innovative Start and Stop steam control and delivery system, you can save up to 40% of water.

The line also includes other stylish and multifunctional steamers: models EUH2020W, EUJK100B, EUMI100B stand out with minimalist and refined design, so the device won't spoil but support the style of your interior.

Pay attention: Vertical steamer EUES200B, 64,990 rubles. Vertical steamer EUH2020W, 34,990 rubles. Vertical steamer EUJK100B, 29,990 rubles. Vertical steamer EUMI100B, 39,990 rubles.

Super cabinet on the kitchen and storage systems of different depths in the entrance hall

Designer Nikita Kovalyov decorated an apartment for a family with a small child. Storage here can be called genius — on the kitchen, Nikita himself created a super cabinet. Its upper part is attic-style cabinets where rarely used items can be stored. In the center is a section with sliding doors — behind them, small appliances are hidden, and food can also be prepared. A solution for those who love perfect order. The lower part contains a "magic corner" — a system that maximizes the use of corner sections.

Attic-style cabinets extend all the way to the dining area — more storage space is added, and the kitchen-living room space becomes unified. Another life hack to borrow in the entrance hall: instead of a monolithic cabinet, sections for storing different items of varying depth were made — a 60 cm cabinet and sliding drawers. The corner niche was divided into two separate cabinets.

Cabinet-table and wall with a secret

Designer Vera Nikolaenko created the interior for a Euro-double apartment ready for rent. Storage systems in this apartment don't stand out at all — thanks to Vera's tricks. The first is wood-paneling that hides storage systems: this is how access to utilities in the entrance hall is decorated (it's not visible at all due to clothes on hangers).

There is a whole wall with a secret in the apartment: behind the same wall panels, there is a door to hidden installation, through which residents enter the bathroom and also a built-in cabinet. The space does not look cluttered at all. Another find is a cabinet combined with a table. To create an unusual structure, they gave up the usual windowsill — it became a countertop that is part of a multi-section cabinet. The fronts allowed it to blend into the wall and become an unobtrusive part of the interior.

Thoughtful kitchen cabinets and TV zone construction

A client approached designer Veronica Polikarpenko: she needed to transform a three-room apartment into a thoughtfully designed and stylish space. There is a lot of storage here, and it is planned down to the smallest detail: the kitchen cabinet was custom-made. The lower cabinets were chosen with a depth of 60 cm: to the left of the sink is a cabinet with a dryer, a narrow sliding drawer — for spices and oils, under the cooktop is a cabinet with two sliding drawers (for appliances and large dishes).

The upper cabinets are divided into three shelves, deep columns to the ceiling handle storage of large household appliances.

Another way to free up space in a cabinet is to rely on appliances that can be left visible. Steamers from SteamOne — an excellent option for those who didn't plan storage for ironing accessories in the cabinet beforehand and now don't know where to hide the board. Or for those who fundamentally don't want to leave space in the cabinet for household appliances — there just isn't enough room for clothes.

Another feature of the apartment is a central wall with a TV zone. The task was to organize a lot of storage precisely in this location — there was no need: the furniture was chosen light and highlighting the height of the space — tall narrow cabinets from floor to ceiling. In the back part of the shelf, mirrors were planned — this makes the space brighter, and thanks to the rhythmic placement of shelves, a "play" is created. The construction also includes a niche for the TV unit block, and cables are hidden in a cable channel.
