Eclectic Living Room with Simple Decorating Tips

The style and atmosphere of the apartment are shaped through various elements of furniture, lighting, and decor. The designer placed special emphasis on eclectic details that give character to the entire apartment. Here a modern sofa combines with a classic armchair, cushions with various prints, stylish coffee tables, and vibrant works of art.

One of the main goals of the designer in this project was to demonstrate that an interesting interior can be created using minimal variety of finishing materials. This objective was successfully achieved — the same paint and floor covering were used throughout all rooms. However, furniture and lighting became key elements defining the style of the interior.

Simplistic decorative items such as wall posters, table lamps, ceramic pieces, rugs, mirrors, and decorative cushions, throws, and storage baskets complement the studio apartment's look and make it cozy and elegant.

A workspace is necessary even in a small living space. It was arranged using open bookshelves for books and documents, a desk, and a comfortable chair. As an interesting contrasting detail, a mirror in an antique carved frame was added — it was restored and painted black.
