Irina Chufistova created a status functional interior where it is cozy and comfortable

Designer Irina Chufistova decorated a 2-room apartment of 67 sq. m for a successful man, company manager, young scientist who travels a lot. The main wishes were to create a modern status interior, comfortable and filled with beautiful details. The project used the customer's favorite colors - bright warm tones, shades of amber and brass.

Layout

On an area of 67 sq. m, it was necessary to arrange a comfortable kitchen-living room and a separate bedroom with a walk-in closet. An essential condition was a large bathroom of at least 9 sq. m.

Kitchen-living room

The kitchen cabinet was designed according to standard modules of German manufacturer Leicht. The kitchen is small but very functional. Two columns were made, in which the refrigerator, oven and microwave were built-in. Under the sink, pull-out modules with trash baskets were placed. The island serves as a bar counter.

The island and countertop are made of natural stone BRECCIA ROMANO - this is the main accent. Carefully selected two slabs specially for this project. The pattern was planned in advance and how to place it. All other colors in the interior were taken from the stone shades. Amber veins in the stone combine with amber textiles, chairs and a footstool.

There is an original mirrored panel in the dining area. Some parts of it have a rounded pattern - wanted to create balance and add rounded elements.

In addition to the dining table and chairs, a functional cabinet was made that also plays a decorative role. It stores household items and various small things, which are usually quite a lot in an apartment.

For finishing the rooms, paint was used. Accent zones were highlighted with decorative plastering - for example, the wall behind the TV, and veneered panels in the bedroom were used.

Decorative partitions in the entrance hall separate the dining area to create a more private space. The partition color was chosen to match the Finex engineered board. "We wanted to get an effect as if the panels grow out of the floor. After many samples, we got a great option. The panel grooving at the bottom is rounded so it doesn't look like typical rails," - the designer explains.

Storage systems were planned down to the smallest detail. At the entrance, a separate closet for outerwear was made, as well as a vertical shoe cabinet with pull-out drawers - this is very convenient.

The bedroom features a functional walk-in closet with hangers, drawers and shelves. All storage systems were made by Russian manufacturers.

Attention is drawn to the panels: apart from the impressive three-dimensional pattern, they have a very harmonious color. "We spent a long time selecting samples for making these panels. The last one was simply perfect. The oak was tinted so that there was a slight haze and more complex shades than the usual amber color," - the designer explains.

Many items in the interior were made to order according to the author's sketches. For example, shelves and a picture console in the bedroom, as well as panels with lighting.

The bathroom had to be large, with a bathtub and shower. It was also possible to make a functional niche where the washing machine and dryer and laundry basket were placed.
