Small Brutal Kitchen with Glass Cabinets
Eye-catching interior designed to impress
Designer Igor Kуркин created impressive apartments for a young bachelor who loves to entertain guests and values external appeal, functionality, and practicality.
All storage systems are hidden behind glass fronts — the owner has nothing to hide, everything is displayed proudly. The apartment owner leads an active life and doesn't cook food regularly — only when in the mood. Therefore, the kitchen cabinet is fully integrated into the interior design. The refrigerator and storage are concealed behind glass fronts of cabinets in the niche, all necessary household appliances are placed on the island.

Minimalist monolithic cabinet fronts embody the philosophy of modern tech-driven spaces where functionality and ergonomics come first.

Wine storage shelves are located above the glass cabinets. They are not only functional but also decorative — they mask a rather imposing ventilation system.

For wall finishing, graphite-colored paint was chosen — it creates a desired private atmosphere. For this purpose, the ceiling was also painted in the same color. The floor features travertine, a pleasant-to-the-touch material. Interestingly, it was preserved from the previous interior.

The interior is built on contrasts and combinations of elements from different 'worlds.' For example, a high-tech kitchen in minimalism style sits next to an antique chandelier inspired by Stalinist glamour. The fixture’s finish and color palette echo the pattern on the wallpaper — these are the details that unite the interior.
