Pay attention to these materials, they are really cool

If you don't plan to redo the kitchen renovation in a few years, it's important to choose high-quality building materials from the start.

Based on real designer interior examples, we offer several practical and aesthetic combinations of finishing. In our opinion, they deserve your attention. Check it out!

Paint, engineered wood, and concrete

In this interior, the walls were painted, and the floor is covered with high-strength engineered wood. The ceiling was originally partially covered with concrete tiles, which helped save money during the renovation.

Thanks to the materials used, the classic design is enriched with loft elements.

Plaster and laminate

The walls of this kitchen are plastered, so they don't wear out or get dirty. In addition, the finish looks textured and stylish. The floor is covered with laminate imitating oak — a budget-friendly but very durable material.

Brick, parquet, and ceramic granite

The original brick walls in this kitchen-living room were simply treated with clear lacquer. This coating is resistant to steam, water, and fat. The area along the kitchen unit and splashback is finished with gray ceramic granite. The parquet on the floor, left over from previous owners, was restored and coated with clear oil-based composition.

Paint and microcement

This kitchen-living room was painted white. Generally, any stains on such a surface are immediately noticeable, so they can be quickly removed with regular cleaning agents.

For the flooring, Terrazzo microcement with quartz particles was chosen. It consists of a mixture of cement and resins, making it quite durable and seamless. Microcement is long-lasting, easy to maintain, and looks unique in a room.

Wallpaper, laminate, and tiles

The main highlight of this kitchen area is its color palette. The wallpaper chosen for painting was not accidental: it can be repainted in any shade later on. The tiles for the splashback are ordinary, just different tones that blend into each other. The floor is covered with neutral, water-resistant budget laminate that doesn't require special treatment.
