Even in conditions of limited space, it's possible to create a stylish and functional interior. A great example of this is Scandinavian compact apartments.

This studio in Stockholm, for instance, was decorated like a boutique hotel room. At the same time, all essential items were arranged ergonomically.

Task: The studio needed to be divided into several functional zones. The design should reflect the cozy atmosphere of a boutique hotel room.

Solution: Designers opted not to emphasize kitchen cabinetry. Instead, they chose neutral cabinets and extended this color palette throughout the apartment.

Private zones were distinguished by various lighting fixtures — especially numerous ones near the bedroom.

A technologically advanced kitchen module serves both as a bar counter and storage for utensils.

Thanks to a variety of lighting fixtures, any lighting concept can be implemented. In this apartment, three types were used: an IKEA table lamp, paired lights, and a tripod floor lamp.

At the entrance, a classic chandelier and framed mirrors add sophistication and shine to the space.

A small mirror was hung above a dresser, while tall mirrors in the floor stood next to each other, enhancing the room’s intimacy.
