A three-room cottage of 44 sq. m in Scandinavian style

Let's look at the most ordinary but very cozy and affordable interior for everyone. To implement such a project, you will need boarding as finishing material, white and colored paint, furniture, and lighting from IKEA.

This three-room cottage with an area of 44 sq. m is located in Chelyabinsk region. Designer Daria Sergienko was tasked with decorating the interior for quick completion and within a limited budget.

According to the client's wishes, boarding was used on the walls and ceiling in main rooms, while larch was used in the bathroom and sauna. Laminate was laid on the floor, but ceramic granite was used in the bathroom, shower, and sauna.

A large closet for bags and bulky clothing was placed there. Also, compact storage areas were provided in each room. Daria Sergienko's task was to create the brightest interior and make the space feel lighter. Therefore, the color palette was as neutral as possible, with accents only on specific walls and furniture items.

It was also important to create a feeling of a country house, so Daria used only natural colors in the project. This resulted in a quite natural Scandinavian setting.

Furniture and decor were chosen based on the budget and project duration, so mostly everything came from IKEA, Leroy Merlin, and H&M.

Despite the limited budget for a home of around 375 thousand rubles, a very comfortable and affordable interior was created. By the way, the furniture fits perfectly into the Scandinavian setting.
