How to Create a Cozy and Beautiful Kitchen: 7 Simple Tips

Even small details can transform the kitchen interior, making it more stylish and cozy. See how Russian designers handled this task. You can easily replicate all these ideas in your own kitchen.

Add vibrant elements

Beauty and coziness in the setting are added by vivid details: yellow chairs and a chandelier, a painting and vases. The designer also used an unusual tile pattern with a geometric design on the backsplash. On the wall without upper cabinets, the tiles were extended to the ceiling. The uniqueness of this tile is that there are only a few similar elements, and the collection includes about 40 non-repeating patterns.

Use natural textures

In this project, the designer decided to use ceramic granite resembling wood on the backsplash. It blends well with cabinet colors and creates a warm, cozy atmosphere in the interior. The countertop is laminated, matching the backsplash color. A wooden dining table harmonizes with the backsplash and the work surface of the kitchen cabinet.

To decorate the wall in the dining area, the designer used brick masonry and added an unusual panel with a design. To create an accent wall in the kitchen, it's not necessary to start a renovation. You can hang a large painting or create a composition from posters of various sizes.

Place a vase with flowers

Beautiful bouquets on the dining table and windowsill will bring a romantic atmosphere into the interior and create coziness. In this project, the designer didn't stop at flowers in vases but also added decorative painting on the walls — Siberian grasses and flowers. The painting was created by a Novosibirsk artist, Tatiana Koloitai, specifically for this interior. Siberian flowers and grasses create a special atmosphere and give the interior individuality.

Hang unusual lighting

The designer separated the kitchen from the dining area with a peninsula and designed different lighting scenarios. Above the peninsula, which also serves as a bar counter, three stylish lamps with a minimalist design were hung. In the dining area, an elegant crystal chandelier was installed.
