Color Proportions
Color proportions in interior design can be as follows: 60% main color, 30% additional color, and 10% accent color. The second option: 70% main color and 30% additional colors.
The main color is used for painting walls, floor, and ceiling. Additional colors are used in furniture and textiles. Accent colors — in decor and accessories.

The main criterion is your preferences
Regardless of current seasonal color trends or your decorator's recommendations, it's important to follow your personal feelings. You should feel positive emotions from your space!

Lighting affects color
Using different light sources with varying temperatures can change the perception of colors. When choosing a new paint shade for walls, pay attention to how lighting will look in the interior. For example, a purple color under warm-toned lighting will turn red.

Color is not only paint
Remember that color is expressed not only through paint but also through materials. For example, if your interior includes wooden elements, you should consider the material's color when selecting a general color palette.

Color also has "weight"
Each color has its own visual "weight." For example, if we add 10% beige color, it will visually occupy a little space. But if we add 10% fuchsia color, it will take up more space because fuchsia is a saturated and dominant color.

Considering color in context — along with proportions, weight, lighting, and your preferences — will help you create a harmonious space!
