Simple Garden House That Is Easy to Replicate: Example from Sweden
This house is located in the suburbs of Linkoping. There, famous Swedish lakes and the aviation industry are developing. Such was this house too — at the intersection of nature and technology. Take a look!
In this countryside single-story house with an area of only 60 square meters, there is nothing superfluous. For construction, designers took the best from nature — wood and stone. Thus, the house became truly Swedish — standing on a permanent stone foundation, it features a cottage with a facade made of wooden planks in brick color. There are currently two buildings on the plot: the first is the main house, and the second is a guesthouse that is just waiting for its turn for renovation.

Despite its small size, the house has room for two bedrooms, a spacious combined living room-kitchen with a fireplace, and a bathroom. Just like the exterior, the interior of the house is authentically Swedish. Everything here is simple yet cozy: pine floors and walls, a fireplace made of unprocessed stone, carpets from sisal, and cotton textiles.

Decorating the interior — a fireplace in the living room. It stands in the center and not only makes the space cozy but also divides it into zones: the kitchen on one side and the living room on the other.

The kitchen in the countryside style with white wooden facades and a worktop made of linseed-oiled oak blends with the landscape outside the window. Thanks to wide windows, the view serves as a vibrant accent on the kitchen: green in summer and fiery-orange in autumn.

Bedrooms continue the modest interior design: a bed, a wicker chair, and monochrome gray tones. Here, space and lightness reign.
