Size

When choosing a compact sink, don't rush to buy the smallest one by dimensions. Usually, the length of such small sinks is from 32 cm, and width is about 30 cm.

Important: Plan and calculate all parameters during the renovation planning stage. It may be possible to forgo a micro-sink in favor of a more comfortable model. Because even with the most careful use, it's impossible to avoid splashes on the floor.

Shape

In tiny bathrooms, it is not recommended to experiment with the shape of the sink basin. Prefer classic models with round, rectangular, semi-circular, and square shapes. You can also consider the option of an angular sink.

Important: Take into account the placement of rectangular and square sinks to avoid injury from their corners.

Mounting

For a small bathroom, suspended models with wall mounting are preferable. You can also consider the option of a sink above a washing machine. The advantages are that they don't require much space and additional furniture or support.

Important: Plan the ergonomics of a tiny bathroom in advance. How convenient will it be to wash your face if the sink is mounted on a washing machine? Will the height of the basin be suitable and will there be enough space for your feet.

Such sinks have a flat drain, which can clog more often than usual. Therefore, consider installing the washing machine in the kitchen.

Material

Models made of glass, natural and artificial stone are quite heavy. Therefore, they are installed only on countertops, which aren't always available. Sinks made of faience and stainless steel are very diverse in terms of installation options. There are suspended, angular variants, and also bowl models above a washing machine.

Important: Maintenance of ceramic models is much easier. Plus points also include a wide color palette that can be matched to your interior.

Faucet

The choice of faucet begins at the planning stage of the bathroom. Will it be one universal faucet with a long spout for both the bathtub and sink? The advantages include saving space, meaning you can choose a narrower sink without a faucet hole. Or install two separate faucets with comfortable spout lengths. This option will be more modern and aesthetic.

Important: If there are small children at home, it is recommended to install a faucet with a long spout. In this case, hygiene procedures will be more comfortable.
