Stylish Scandinavian Two-Room Apartment You Will Love
The living space of a bright two-room apartment with an area of 63 square meters is organized thoughtfully and without excess. Wardrobes are provided in the corridor and bedroom for storing clothes and shoes, while several spacious cupboards on the kitchen are available for household items. There is also a balcony with plenty of space. Thanks to the favorable location of the apartment, every centimeter of it is well lit.

The designer and decorator is a Swedish interior stylist Anna Furbaken. She has a unique, carefree way of decorating, and no interior by Furbaken is complete without stylish textures, worn-out fabrics, and light fixtures that look like they're floating in the air. This project is no exception.

The overall color scheme of the interior is in achromatic tones: white walls are the background for almost all furniture and decor in gray and its shades. Thanks to this, the 'colored' colors – green of plants, umber tones of rough wooden furniture and the dining area on the kitchen – appear brighter and more vivid in blue. The living room and bedroom look like a single space: their common feature, apart from the chromatic neutrality, is the small geometric patterns of rugs, throws, and pillows.

Rolled-up curtains were installed at the windows. They are barely noticeable when folded and help maintain the airy feel of the space. The same effect is achieved by the asymmetrically placed furniture in the living room and Anna Furbaken's favorite lighting models – bulb chandeliers and the weightless Koushi Lamp designed by Mark Idén Sjöström.

Boards stretched on frames, freely hanging textiles resembling academic drapery, and reproductions of classical works on the walls – these are the finishing touches in this 'artistic' apartment. However, apart from artist's accessories, its similarity to a studio lies in the simplicity and relaxed atmosphere of the setting. Otherwise, it feels fresh, stylish, and very cozy.
