Modern Classic Interior Design of a Flat in Moscow — Stylish 130 m² Studio by Julia Starikova
Smooth Blend of Classical Elegance and Modern Life
This residential interior project in Moscow presents a transformation of a 130 m² apartment, demonstrating how classical elegance and modern design can coexist in harmony. The concept emerged from the challenge of merging two separate apartments into a single, fully adapted living space for the client's lifestyle.
The owner, accustomed to spaciousness of a private house, desired comfort and openness of large housing without losing the timeless design elements. As a result, a modern classic interior was created that combines clean lines, refined details and functional layouts with warm, cozy accents.
Design Vision: Balance Between Old and New
The design team spent considerable time finding the perfect balance between modernist minimalism and classical elegance. Ornamental elements such as elegant moldings and timeless textures were carefully contrasted with smooth finishes, streamlined furniture, and modern lighting.
This approach not only created a visually appealing home but also ensured practicality and comfort for daily living. The overall aesthetic effect conveys elegance while remaining functional and adaptable to modern urban life.
Key Features of the Apartment
-
Open Living Concept: By combining two apartments, designers achieved a seamless open layout maximizing natural light and air circulation.
-
Modern Classic Style: Neutral tones complemented with accent colors, refined furniture and classical details create a cozy yet contemporary atmosphere.
-
Personal Comfort: Each space was tailored to specific client needs, from a functional kitchen to a relaxing lounge area.
-
Attention to Detail: High-quality materials, carefully selected decorative elements and gentle stylistic contrasts make the apartment a true design masterpiece.
