Broma Tulum, designed by Ceiba and Jaque Studio, is a residential complex of four villas nestled among the dense tropical forests of Tulum, Mexico. Each villa features its own garden and pool, creating a tranquil sanctuary that ensures privacy and a strong connection with nature.

The natural environment is seamlessly woven into all villa spaces. High ceilings, the use of fresh materials, and views of tropical gardens create a sense of spaciousness. Local and low-maintenance finishes are used, combining tones and textures that convey the warmth and freshness of the Mexican Caribbean.

Broma is a residential complex of four villas located within the tropical forest of Tulum. Each unit has its own garden and pool. The main concept of the project is to create a retreat and comfort sanctuary where spaces guarantee privacy and contact with nature.

The natural environment is always present in each room. Each villa creates a sense of spaciousness through high ceilings, fresh materials and views of tropical gardens. The finishes are local and require minimal maintenance, with tones and textures that convey the warmth and freshness of the Mexican Caribbean.

Sustainable development plays a key role in project implementation, so it is equipped with a wastewater treatment plant to preserve the cleanliness of our aquifers and septic tanks. More than 60% of existing trees were preserved, and all spaces have access to ventilation and natural light. All electronic equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is energy efficient.

Broma is a project that seeks to explore the typology of housing in the tropical forest city of Tulum, a rapidly growing town, and find a balance between built and natural environments.
