5 kitchens you liked the most last month
Each of them is not just a place for cooking, but a full-fledged center of attraction in the apartment
A good kitchen is one that delights not only with functionality but also with atmosphere. This perfectly describes the interiors in this selection: designer boldness, practicality and coziness have merged here. In some places the accent is on textural materials, in others — on an unconventional palette, and in still others — on striking details.
Each project reflects the lifestyle of its owners. Be inspired and take interesting ideas to heart.
Whitewashed kitchen with pop-art vibe
A minimalistic white kitchen in this apartment became a background for bright details that form the interior's mood. Upper cabinets with texture, minimalist hardware and unified countertop and backsplash finishing visually 'dissolve' against the wall background. A black faucet, stove and handles create a graphic rhythm, while yellow dishes and a bouquet of tulips add a cheerful accent.

Here, zoning is successfully implemented with a soft transition into the living room: built-in cabinets frame a cozy armchair, and colorful elements — poster, cushion, items on the windowsill — continue the pop-art aesthetic. The contrasting combination of fuchsia, blue and animalistic print looks bold yet harmonious.

Minimalism with a maritime vibe
A whitewashed kitchen built into the corner of a studio turned out to be sleek and beautiful. Open shelves make the space visually lighter, while the countertop transitioning into a bar counter with ribbed blue fronts adds texture to the interior. Small accents like a gold faucet and pendant lights give a bit more warmth to the kitchen's strictness.

On a small area, everything necessary was skillfully fitted in: work surface, cooktop, oven and even a dishwasher. Stylish bar stools support the kitchen style without overloading it.

Gentle blue tones
A gentle kitchen in pastel shades instantly evokes a feeling of calm and homey warmth. Soft blue fronts, warm wood and an abundance of natural light create a cozy atmosphere, while tiles with geometric patterns on the backsplash add dynamism to the interior. A spacious display cabinet nicely complements storage zones.

The central place is taken by a wooden table, behind which it's easy to imagine family dinners and long conversations. A sand-toned light fixture completes the design — it not only illuminates but also sets a soft mood.

Natural textures to neon accents
A dark kitchen in this project is not just a working area but an accent reflecting the owner's tastes. Black lower fronts harmonize with upper modules in oak, and the backsplash is made of large marble slabs with a distinctive texture. An original pendant light from a branch gives the kitchen a touch of forest mystery and artistic flair.

Despite the restrained palette, the interior does not seem dull. The texture of wood, velvet sofa in emerald green and copper details (such as a teapot and cabinet handles) create depth. Built-in storage systems help maintain order without extra effort.

Coziness in details
A restrained yet refined kitchen became part of a large renovation project for an apartment from 1927 in Patriarshy Ponds area. The designer aimed to preserve the atmosphere of a historic Moscow house, while adding modern solutions.

The upper rack of fronts is in classical style with framed doors, while the lower part features a contrasting dark wood. Gray stone for the backsplash and countertop ties these elements into one composition. Built-in appliances and hardware blend seamlessly with the overall rhythm. The dining area with a vintage round table and Venetian chairs adds warmth.

Natural tones of finishing, wooden flooring and carefully chosen materials transform the kitchen into a space where one wants not only to cook but also spend long conversations over dinner with loved ones.
