2-room apartment 51 m² with lots of storage and bold color schemes
Stylish interior for a musician's family
In this apartment lives a family of three people. Spouses Alexandra and Grigory are musicians who work at the conservatory, and their daughter Anna studies in 11th grade. Another family member is a Belgian shepherd named Pончик. The apartment belonged to Grigory and was inherited from his mother, where he spent his childhood. The main task was to create a comfortable living interior and provide storage spaces for numerous items and musical instruments.
Location: Moscow
Area: 51.3 m²
Rooms: 2
Ceiling height: 2.8 m
Bathroom: 1
Budget: around 5 million rubles
Layout
The layout suited the set goals, so it was not changed. The apartment has a hallway, parents' bedroom, daughter's room, kitchen, and a separate bathroom.

Kitchen
They officially gave up gas in favor of an electric stove. The walls were painted with washable, wear-resistant paint, and the floor was covered with quartz vinyl. A bright, cheerful accent was added using yellow tiles on the backsplash, a yellow radiator, and a refrigerator. The corner cabinet is equipped with plenty of storage space. The worktop was made taller to accommodate additional pull-out sections. To integrate the existing refrigerator into the interior, a specialist was called in to cover it with special yellow film.

Bedroom
This room is not only for sleeping and relaxation, but also for rehearsals. Therefore, it was important to leave enough space so that both of them could comfortably accommodate musical instruments. Grigory works from home a lot, so a functional workspace was placed next to the bed.

Child's room
This small room contains everything necessary. It features a bright yellow sofa with a transformation mechanism, a large built-in wardrobe, and a workspace. The wardrobe includes storage for the daughter's clothes and the parents' musical instruments.

Hallway
To visually expand the boundaries of this small hallway, the walls and large wardrobe were made light-colored. Accent elements were added using a blue shade on the wall, applying the color-block technique. The hallway only contains the essentials: a coat hanger and a pouf shoe organizer. The built-in wardrobe smoothly transitions into the corridor area and serves as a utility storage for cleaning supplies.

Bathroom
The bathroom doors were decorated in a color-block style. The vivid color accents draw attention and create an eye-catching element in the room. In the toilet, yellow details were added to the finish; in the bathroom, blue ones.
