7 Successful Solutions for a Beautiful and Functional Bathroom

This vibrant and stylish bathroom was designed by interior designer Lili Kaisarova from the studio Sloyarch in a 38 sq. m one-room Moscow apartment. Natural motifs and a seaside atmosphere inspired the entire interior. We gathered fashionable and practical solutions that will inspire you to renovate.

Zone with finishing materials

Different wall finishes in the toilet and bathtub area visually divide the room. The client loves blue, so the walls above the bathtub and washbasin were tiled in deep blue. A bright saturated tone adds freshness to the room and reminds of a azure coastline.

Combining textures

We mixed not only finishes and colors, but also textures. Textured tiles, wooden surfaces, router-edged doors, brass fixtures — the interior looks interesting, dynamic, and provides a variety of tactile sensations.

Shelves in niches

Deep niches were designed above the installation and on the wall near the bathtub. This is a great way to make the most efficient use of space. They are convenient for placing hygiene items and cosmetics.

Glass partition

Instead of a soft curtain, a modern glass shower door was chosen. It looks stylish, lets in light, and makes the bathroom appear visually lighter and more airy. The glass partition zones the space and protects the floor from water and soap splashes.

Storage up to the ceiling

Main storage in the bathroom was organized in a spacious storage system up to the ceiling. This includes a closed wooden cabinet and open shelves matching the wall color near the washbasin. Thanks to the large number of storage spaces, all necessary items can be placed and decor arranged beautifully.

Hygienic shower

This functional and convenient addition to the toilet is used during cleaning and greatly improves personal hygiene. A hygienic shower becomes an indispensable helper in homes with children, pets, or elderly people. It also stylishly complements the interior.

Shelf on a pedestal

To accommodate the washing machine, a pedestal was installed in the cabinet. Hidden technical equipment keeps the unified style of decoration without protruding elements. Ventilation with forced activation was provided behind the machine inside the cabinet.
