Useful tips and stylish design solutions from the professional project

Designers from Dot and Dash Architects interiorized a modern and beautiful studio apartment of 38 sq. m. Let's take a look at how they solved the storage issue — simple and effective solutions were gathered.

Functional Kitchen Cabinet

The area of the small kitchen was used to the fullest. Storage is organized behind tall upper cabinets, in the section above the built-in refrigerator, in lower drawer units and sliding wardrobes. There is a drawer for storing dishes under the range hood in the base, and next to it — a convenient bottle rack.

Stylish Dresser

The dresser in the workspace is both a functional storage system and a decorative element. The dresser has three sliding drawers. Thanks to the attractive ribbed fronts, it became a vibrant design detail. The dresser top can be used to arrange decor beautifully.

Shelf Between Windows

In the room between two windows, a shallow open shelf made of LDF was placed. It is wooden inside and has white edging — it looks expensive and presentable. It's not necessary to use it exclusively for books: different types of decor can be combined on the shelves, and technology or plants can be placed there.

Wardrobe in the Corner

A large wardrobe in the color of the walls was integrated into the bedroom all the way to the ceiling. This increased the number of storage spaces. The built-in wardrobe creates an impressive look as a beautifully decorated wall and appears as a monolithic aesthetic object.

"Floating" Shelves

An impressive and functional solution — glass shelves in the niche above the bathroom. The built-in structure helped solve the storage problem for cosmetics and bath accessories. Thanks to glass surfaces and backlighting, a floating effect is created, which looks very stylish and atmospheric.
