Bathroom 5.8 sqm: Winning Tips for Unusual Layouts and Beautiful Design
Get inspired and take notes!
Our heroine Anastasia decided to do without a designer and independently decorated a wonderful bathroom from scratch. She thought through the design down to the smallest detail. Let's look at simple tricks that you can easily apply in your interior.
Combining Different Tiles
The size of the room allowed for functional zones with different tiles. On the wall next to the bathtub, blue tiles were laid out in a tree-like pattern. This layout looks impressive, adds volume to the space, and hides irregularities.

For the shower screen, the same tiles were used but laid vertically. The area with the sink and toilet was highlighted with white tiles laid vertically. The floor is covered with patterned tiles. A contrasting combination makes the interior dynamic, cozy, and elegant.
Filling Niches
It happened that a 60 cm niche formed on one wall. A standard washing machine fit well into it. Above it — a storage cabinet.

Attention to Accessories
One of the favorite features of the apartment owner is a magnetic shower holder. It's very convenient to use, looks stylish and original. Another functional accessory is a G-shaped curtain rod holder. It was chosen curved to follow the lines of the bathtub. An electric towel rack with additional hooks was also provided.

Hiding Utilities
Take a look at the photo below. Agree, it's hard to guess that pipes are hidden behind the toilet and sink. They were enclosed in special boxes made of gypsum board and covered with tiles. Access panels that open by pressing were installed for easy access.

Considering Functionality
A sink with a cabinet in the bathroom — a special set that enhances functionality and aesthetics. Drawers were built into the cabinet for easy storage of accessories and bath essentials.
